Thank you for creation of site. In him maximal useful information content is collected on an insignia the Irish army. Unique that it would be desirable to offer - it to specify the size of the used stripes. If, certainly, there are such limitations and there is information about it.

Very good site. One disagreement I must make with you: The Sniper course is the 3rd hardest course in the Army(after ARW selection). The Recce Commanders Course is generally accepted as being much tougher than the Sniper course. It is physically much more demanding, involves more navigation, and requires students to spend a total of 3 weeks on the ground. The Sniper course is very tough to pass(due to the tests) but it is not phsically harder and does not require students to carry heavy loads. Cheers. (great site)

Your site is very nicely done. It's one of the only two sites I could find online that illustrate Irish rank markings. Your illustrations are very well done. Thank you.

Very nice, good work..
any chance you would rework some of the unit markings such as the 31 reserve cav current scheme as the primary colours are wrong. Cav colours should include Black Red and green...blood mud and green fields etc.
It seems to be an oversight on behalf of those who organised the reorg that units have specific colours..such as the cavalry corps
